What Weebly is

Weebly was one of the first drag-and-drop builders and was the easiest of them. Square bought it in 2018 and has since focused on Square Online, its commerce builder, while Weebly continues on maintenance. As of this writing, Weebly plans run about $10 to $26 a month billed yearly, with a free plan that shows Weebly branding. Templates are limited and the editor has not changed meaningfully in years.

Where Weebly works for a park

• It already exists and the phone still rings. A Weebly site that is current and brings in enough bookings does not need to move today.
• Simplicity is the point. Weebly's editor is about as easy as builders get, which is why so many parks chose it.

Where Weebly falls short for a park

• It is not being developed. New features, templates, and search tools go to Square Online. Weebly sites are on a platform in maintenance mode.
• The templates look like 2014. Guests judge a park by its site before the call, and dated design reads as an unmaintained park.
• Mobile is an afterthought. Weebly templates predate phone-first design. On a phone, where every camper is, they are cramped and slow.
• No campground reservations. Link out to your platform and maintain the link yourself.
• Search tools are thin. Titles and descriptions, little else. No FAQ markup, no structured data control, no help with what a park page should say.
• Export is partial. Weebly can export a zip of pages, but the result needs rebuilding to be usable anywhere else.
